I know Reaper can do it, and that license is only $60. Anybody know of an inexpensive or free program that can do that? So if PT Vanilla cannot import 32 track interleaved WAV files, I'm going to need a utility that can split a single 32 track WAV file into 32 individual mono files. The X-Live card won't be available until around Feb. I would test myself to find out, but I only have mono and stereo files to work with at this time. I'm not going to upgrade to HD simply to import some audio files. Reading the PT Reference Guide leads me to believe that I need PT HD to be able to import these 32 track interleaved WAV files. My problem will come when I need to edit these recordings in PT 12 Vanilla. This solves my virtual soundcheck problem as I will no longer need to use a computer at all to record and play the 32 channels on the board. It's kind of a hassle, especially if all I want to do is a virtual soundcheck.īut Behringer is soon to release a new card for the X32/M32 mixers called the X-Live which will enable recording all 32 channels to a single interleaved WAV file on a SDHC card.
